Please read these terms before nominating. Submitting a nomination means you and your nominee agree to the conditions below.
AgeAll nominees must be aged 18 years or over as of 1 November 2026.
ResidencyNominees must be current residents of the state of Victoria, Australia.
IdentityThese awards are specifically designed to celebrate the achievements of transgender, gender diverse and non-binary individuals and trans-led organisations and projects.
ExclusionsCurrent staff members, board members and contractors of Transgender Victoria (TGV) are ineligible to be nominated. Immediate family members of TGV staff are also ineligible.
Mandatory consentNo individual or project may be nominated without their explicit prior consent. By submitting a nomination, the Nominator affirms they have obtained the Nominee's permission to share their story and personal details with TGV.
Self-nominationSelf-nominations are permitted and encouraged.
AccuracyAll information provided in the nomination form must be true and correct to the best of the Nominator's knowledge. TGV reserves the right to disqualify any entry found to contain false or misleading information.
Nominations open8 July 2026.
Nominations close5:00pm, 17 August 2026.
finalists announced16 September 2026.
AnnouncementWinners will be announced at the Gender Revel Gala, held on 28 November 2026.
PanelWinners will be selected by an independent judging panel appointed by TGV.
FinalityThe judges' decision is final, and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into regarding the results.
CriteriaNominees will be assessed on their impact, leadership and contribution to Victorian trans communities within the specific category for which they were nominated.
Data usagePersonal information collected during the nomination process will be used solely for administering the awards, in accordance with TGV's Privacy Policy.
Promotional materialBy accepting a nomination, Nominees agree to the use of their name, likeness and a summary of their achievements in TGV's promotional materials, including social media, website and press releases related to the awards.
SensitivityTGV acknowledges the importance of safety and privacy. If a nominee has specific requirements regarding how they are identified publicly, these must be communicated to TGV upon acceptance of the nomination.
TGV reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the awards or specific categories if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
TGV reserves the right to revoke an award if the recipient's conduct is found to be significantly inconsistent with the values and mission of Transgender Victoria.
