November is Trans Month!

Trans Month occurs every November as a month-long tribute to the strength, joy, and wholeness of our transgender, gender diverse and non-binary communities.

Transgender Victoria invites you to join this open-access program of trans-centric events hosted by community organisations. It’s a time for all of us – our TGD communities, allies, families, and partners – to come together in solidarity and connection.

What is Trans Day of Remembrance?

Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honours the memory of the trans lives lost to acts of transphobia and discrimination.

On November 20, we hold a day of gathering, togetherness, and community solidarity. We remember those we've lost, celebrate our strength in the face of adversity, and commit to fighting transphobia to create a better, safer, and more inclusive world for everyone.
